The Lomenick Cemetery Mausoleums and Columbariums are located
atop one of the highest points in East Ridge, Tennessee near
Chattanooga, and is the oldest continuously operated cemetery in the
community. It was established in 1847 by Pressley Roofus Lomenick, who was a
renowned land surveyor and engineer of the time. He and most of the early
settlers/founders of the community are interred here as are later
descendents and thousands of others through the present.
To continue the traditions and embellish this heritage, we have constructed the first of a series of community mausoleums with niches/columbariums for inurnment that would serve the township and surrounding areas for generations to come. Watch for our opening announcements soon. To
everything there is a season,
Spring Dogwood in Bloom
